Founded in 1972.
It was in a small way that the congregation made its foundation in Srilanka in 1972, one of the sisters returning from England, open the home for the elderly in a rented accommodation. Soon this enterprises grow as many aspirants joined her. It was truly providential that the community was given the old Melville Mention which has now become a loving home for the elderly of all religions and races.

LOCATION AND ROUTES
Location :
In Moratuwa, approximately 40 km from Colombo.
By Car :
From Colombo take the Galle road to Moratuwa the convent is situated 300 Meters from St. Sebastian’s Church. The old Galle Road (Korelawella or St. Peter’s Road).
By Bus :
From Colombo Fort bus stand take a bus to Moratuwa and from there another bus that goes Via Koralla Villa road to Panedura or Modera. It’s about four stops (300 Meters).
By Rail :
From Colobbo Central (Fort) Railway station, take a train to Galle/Marther/ Penatura and get off at Moratuwa follow direction “By Bus”.
By Air :
From Katunayke Airport, go to Colombo Fort Bus stand and follow direction “By Bus”.
